![]() Makes the skin have an air-brushed smoothness.Pros of Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Compact Makeup: ![]() This pressed powder has become my new HG setting powder. Overall, even though this powder is super duper expensive (the same price as the liquid foundation), I still can’t help but love it to pieces. It does prolong the wear of my makeup considerably. Whenever I have used this powder to set my concealer and face, there is very little shine by the end of the day. Staying Power: This powder has very good oil-controlling ability. It builds the coverage of my BB/CC cream by just a tad bit. It not only sets my creamy products and takes away any shine, but gives my skin an air-brushed finish. Look and Feel on skin: I use this powder to set my concealer as well as my foundation and I must say I am absolutely in love with how this powder makes my skin look. At best, it can be used as a setting powder over a layer of foundation or BB/CC cream and that is the way I prefer using this product. Even by packing it on, as I have tried using a buffer brush ( Wayne Goss brush 13), it still does not build up. This product offers very sheer coverage hence cannot be used by itself as a foundation unless you have perfect skin and nothing to cover. It does not feel chalky and has a silky feel to it.Ĭoverage: Though this product is named a powder foundation, I find that to be completely misleading. ![]() It feels like a true powder which is not surprising since the first ingredient is talc. Texture: This is a very smooth, finely milled powder.
